    T7 Mich vs Martin

    Blomgren G5

Break in the action as the HP umpire is having an eye issue. That’s not a joke.

    15-7 Michigan, T7 1 out

Do we have no other catchers beyond Hellstrom and Roskam? (At least someone to eat the last two innings.) Hellstrom is so sluggish today... and we’ll have another game tonight.

6 errors for Big Red. Six.

Strangely, Beers got a save in this game.

It was really a team-wide meltdown. But the beauty of this game is you don’t have to wait too long to redeem yourself.

I would go with Perry and then Bo Blasse. Chad is just a mess and a guaranteed loss.

I would start Palkert and let him go as long as he can (probably 3 innings)

I tried to find the video but couldn't. What I was looking for was an MLB game where a coach kept rotating two pitchers and put the one not pitching in LF to play matchups. I want to say it was either an NL East or NL Central game, but can't recall.

Anyway, now that I've described it terribly after not being able to find the video...

I don't completely disagree... But the results have been good (statically) but I agree I like a shorter leash in a tourney

So can you honestly tell me you didn't want him to pull Palkert when he was struggling?

Sometimes it seems like the obvious choice and still not the right choice

I did. But overall ok with why the didn’t. His issue is how long he lets a starter stay in.
