2025 young Huskers roll call studs who got good PT

You just outed yourself as knowing nothing. Fidone had a very good game. He made several good blocks and even made someone miss after one of his multiple catches. Fidone was anything but awful today, and I called for benching him for good after the ucla game during which his pay was inexcusable, so its not like Im a fan of his.

Its obvious Dana had a positive effect on him. And people wont like it, but SATT probably deserves some credit as TE coach for helping fidone improve and getting HH ready to play so quick.

I was very doubtful about HH at TE. He still needs improvement, however today he proved he can play te and play it well.
Hell. Banks had a good game too. Great catch early. Had 80 yards receiving. Solid day.

Oops, oldfck got it wrong, again
I also think oldnutz should not get hit in a traffic accident.

a man is doing a trick on a motorcycle on the side of the road .

Can someone help me out here? If he redshirted this season and played in 5 games, is that a redshirt? Does the bowl game not count towards the redshirt?
Bowl game doesn't count. Why the bowl game is so critical. Look at all those extra snaps.

A couple of those players hadn't played this year, like #94. Think he might be a little happier going into spring ball?

Yeah, the 3* looked against 2* lol. This team is so slow and not athletic at all. The SR’s won this game and they gone!!
In the interests of helping you with your adult ed classes, generally speaking an apostrophe is used to show a contraction, i.e., "they are>>>>>>they're" or to show possession, i.e., "what a stupid troll 19football19 is">>>>>"19football's a stupid troll". In the latter case, it is shown that 19football possesses qualities which define a troll. Not a good troll, but a still a troll.

Do better.

Huskers.com is not showing snaps…maybe tomorow or wait for PFF grades.

Oh well. He still got good reps earlier this year.

Again, I advocated very strongly that HH play TE full time, even against some of the chirping from this board. Indicating once again that I always know what the hell I'm talking about.

Regarding Fidone, he can catch the ball when the ball is placed accurately. I'll give him that at least. But his blocking is subpar. And his ability to get yards after the catch is atrocious. There's so many guys out there who are better, probably even amongst our own roster.

Look, this was a mediocre win against a bad team without their two best players in a bad bowl game.

But it was a win. Much better than what we’ve seen.
I thought the same thing. However, as we all know, we have lost to teams like this over and over again for years. It’s a measurable step forward that we dominated them, and only Special Teams breakdowns (again) kept this from being a laugher on the scoreboard.

It’s also notable that half our schedule (or more) next year will be teams just like BC - less talented but salty, well-coached outfits that will let you beat yourself if you play like clowns.

NU’s clown show seems to be fading…

My comment was more about getting Fidone out of the picture. I was as high on Haarberg moving to TE as anybody and Nelson will certainly come along. Was actually hoping that Nelson could stay in a hybrid TE/WR role and if Boerk came back, that would be much more feasible.
I'm not saying that we would couldn't replace Fidone, but he's got experience. I don't know what next year's offense will look like. But assuming that playing one or two inline TE's remains in the playbook, then he could have a role there-- next to the tackle. Fidone is not effective in that H-back/move TE role. We can already see Haarberg playing as well as Fidone ever did at that spot. Carter Nelson needs to be moved there. Playing Nelson for one season at slot was an excellent idea for his future development for such things as route running technique. But Carter's future is at that "move TE" position. Play Nelson and Haarberg together and suddenly we've got two big red zone targets who will aggressively go after the ball which is the opposite of what Banks and Neyor did.

5 point win against a mediocre New England team. There's plenty to not be so positive about.
Jarhead. It's 2024. We no longer play in the Big 8. Our last national championship was almost 30 years ago. The last time we won a bowl game was nine years ago and that NU team had a 5-7 record and shouldn't have even qualified.
