He’s healthy. Sat out a scrimmage that was open to the media for gamesmanship reasons.Heard your qb is banged up already. Sitting out for "load management". Is that true?

Not sure I believe that. He's the returning starter who played an entire half in our stadium. What would Fleck be hiding exactly? He’s healthy. Sat out a scrimmage that was open to the media for gamesmanship reasons.
We ? You‘re not a Nebraska fan $&it head..We are going to win more games than any season in 6 years with a poor running team, a qb that will complete 55% of his passes, and no standout wrs? We had one of the best Wrs in the nation last year, a quality qb and struggled on offense.
We haven't won more than 5 games in what, 5 or 6 years? With all new coaches and systems to learn I think hoping we win 6 games crowns me king of the Kool aid drinkers. 😂hoping for 6-6??
man, you got frosted bad
6-6 would be a colossal failure IMO
hoping for 6-6??

Dude we have mostly the same players. If we’re 2-0 it’s a small miracle…
This is battered housewife syndromeWe haven't won more than 5 games in what, 5 or 6 years? With all new coaches and systems to learn I think hoping we win 6 games crowns me king of the Kool aid drinkers. 😂
6-6 would be an overachievement. We’ll compete in the conference once (IF) we start landing Talent.Almost all new coaches though.
We have had enough talent to play for the west the last several years. Lack of development by the staff and garbage preparation have made us look worse than we have been6-6 would be an overachievement. We’ll compete in the conference once (IF) we start landing Talent.
Another one.. try visiting this shelter..6-6 would be an overachievement. We’ll compete in the conference once (IF) we start landing Talent.
Do people not realize NW has won this shitty division more than any other team this past half- decade. Do people think NW is loaded with talent ? 🤣🤣This is battered housewife syndrome
We play 1 team the college football world would deem “good”, and even they can’t compete nationally

I'm sure that you watch the games last few years. The number that were lost because of attention to detail (which is on the coaches) is staggering. I personally believe good coaching fixes that.6-6 would be an overachievement. We’ll compete in the conference once (IF) we start landing Talent.
I’m of the mindset you know if you had a good hire or not right away.. look at Pelini, Callahan, Riley, Frost.. first year results pretty much told the storyAs others have pointed out a new coaching staff can and should do wonders immediately. It’s not a 4 year rebuild in today’s time. Instant results should be expected through a new coach and the transfer portal.
That doesn’t mean that we should win 11 games but there is no way we should not be an obviously better football in year 1 - especially with all the change last year - head coach, OC, DC, etc the team played through during the season.
Stability is important and the work has been there. Trusting Rhule and staff to bring it home!
I really wonder what would have been if Callahan would have made a DC change earlier.I’m of the mindset you know if you had a good hire or not right away.. look at Pelini, Callahan, Riley, Frost.. first year results pretty much told the story
For a new HC...this is a dream schedule. This is battered housewife syndrome

This is really interesting. I bet that statistically the first 2-3 seasons pretty much predict, to some degree, the rest of the career of that coach.I’m of the mindset you know if you had a good hire or not right away.. look at Pelini, Callahan, Riley, Frost.. first year results pretty much told the story
Yay, these dudes on the forum are delusional. A bowl game would be a miracle. We haven't won more than 5 games in what, 5 or 6 years? With all new coaches and systems to learn I think hoping we win 6 games crowns me king of the Kool aid drinkers. 😂
You are wrong. Saban at Alabama and Carroll at USC both had losing records in their first year. It is year two that tells the story. I don't think we can expect Rhule to be a champion but to stabilize the program. Bowl game in 2nd year is probably on track. Recruiting also matters. If he is still sitting barely in the top 25 in recruiting and we are still winning 3-5 games...it is time to start thinking about new staff.I’m of the mindset you know if you had a good hire or not right away.. look at Pelini, Callahan, Riley, Frost.. first year results pretty much told the story
Attention to detail is created by competition more so than coaching. If a guy can't/won't focus, he is replaced by a top level recruit who will. We just don't have the depth to bench guys who make stupid mistakes. That being said...we improved in penalties, turnovers, tackling, field position once Frost and company left but we still lost a lot of games. We have a major talent deficit as evidenced by very few NFL draft picks from a blue blood program.I'm sure that you watch the games last few years. I also understand the desire some here have not to be let down again and why you'd set expectations low enough to hedge against that.
can you please highlight the opposing teams on our schedule that fit this description?Attention to detail is created by competition more so than coaching. I think you're gonna be pretty surprised how willing Rhule will be to bench players who make stupid mistakes.Attention to detail is created by competition more so than coaching. Neither Saban nor Carroll had losing records their first year. I guess you’re counting the 5 games Bama had to later forfeit but they truly went 7-6 and Carroll went 6-6. Both went to a bowl game year 1 and neither had a losing conference record. Let’s not make shit up ok? Looks like your the one wrong. #factsYou are wrong. Agree! Wisconsin is a good program with some good athletes but a brand new staff bringing in a different Offensive philosophy there will be some growing pains. 10-2 is really optimistic!Their prediction for Wisconsin is ridiculous.
