1/ Somewhere on here I read that the Williams kid from Lincoln fits our new defense better than the large man recruit we have from York. is this true, if so, can the larger defensive tackle make a switch to theoffensive line possibly?
2/ I do not know much about the new young Mr. Farniok that is still playing his last year of high school ball next fall. How big is he, how does he rate, and what are the opinions of my fellow Big Red scouts. Did we offer him just to get the older young man to play or is he a legitimate lineman in the Bog Ten? Thanks all, justmaking conversation.

Sean Callahan made a similar comment, maybe that's where you read it? So you either believe the assessment of John Parrella or Sean. It's your choice. The part you left out is, Sean believes the York kid has more upside.

I like Will Farniok as an inside guy, center to be specific.

Bryson Williams is the more polished player right now, but Mapieu has more potential. I could see Williams moving to DE, because he's got a more athletic big build and could provide a good pass rush. I don't see either player switching to offense.

Will is actually much smaller than his brother, but still probably a quality player.
Matt Farniok: 6'5" 319lbs, 5.7 3-star
Will Farniok: 6'3" 250lbs, 5.5 3-star

Actually this is misunderstood. Maprieu is a true NG down the road. He's 6'4 315 with a man's body at Age 16. With his frame, he could be 330 easily and not lose any speed or flexibility.

Williams has a better motor right now and looks to be much further along fundamentally. Bryson could actually play DE in the 3-4 down the road.

They will play different positions down the road.
