I sure wish I'd made the trip to Lincoln. This stuff is much better than vacuuming the swimming pool.
Are you sure?
But at least you are being productive and getting something done.

I don't get why Langsdorf is treating every 3rd down like it's 3rd and long with the game on the line... why not sustain a drive by running the ball... instead of giving Rutgers the ball back with 1:08 left? That is what gets you beat.Yes the receiver has to catch that ball, but should have been running the daggum ball. Takes time off the clock and the run is working!

Take away the punt return that put us on the goaline and our offense only scores 1 TD at home against RUTGERS
InjuredI missed some of the 1st half but where is Stanley Morgan?
I don't think there can be any doubt that there is something very wrong with our offense. I am not knowledgeable enough to make any sweeping indictments of this or that coach. All I will say is that our offensive line is a big weakness, and our QB makes poor decisions.
But ultimately the buck stops with the coaches. Whatever the problem is, if the can't fix it, they should go.
The easiest thing for a freshman or inexperienced linemen to do is run block. We're without Morgan and we continue to try to throw it to guys that aren't getting open. I'm normally not that guy, but man we have got to run the ball, run the ball and run it some more. Go 2 TEs and a fullback and run the damned ball. We've killed a couple of drives by passing on 1st or 2nd down leaving us in a bad 3rd down situation BUT I WOULD STILL RUN THE BALL on 3rd down. We can break the run more times than it seems we can hit a pass for a first down. Until our WRs show they can get open and Lee can hit them we HAVE to run the ball....yah I'm that guy now.I don't think there can be any doubt that there is something very wrong with our offense. Riley said the same pregame. But he does differently. Riley would have been a helluva middle manager at AT&T the 1950s. He says things like a puppet. 2 dimensional.
