Greg saying "that's what the sport will do to you", in re: Nebraska's bad offense. At what point do you acknowledge that it's not "the game's" f***ing fault?
Oh, but we've been told many times how frustrated the players are. Great! They see that there is a problem! How about figuring out a way to solve it?
How come everyone else can score plenty of runs with 2 outs against us but we can’t return the favor..
Sounds like my least favorite Erstad excuse for what goes wrong: "That's baseball".
There’s a lot of baseball left to be played but it’s obvious this team is pressing because nothing is going right. And that tends to snowball.

Yep, you could sense that early on in the game after we loaded the bases. Luck is not a great strategy is all I know.
Erstad's inability to actually translate the "day by day" approach in a meaningful way that his team can apply. If that were easy, everybody would do it. I'm sure he's tried his hardest, but his teams are usually pretty mentally fragile, especially, and specifically at the plate.How come everyone else can score plenty of runs with 2 outs against us but we can’t return the favor..

Pitcher comes into the game with a 5.77 ERA, and he shuts us out through 7. As bad as the hitting has been, it just got worse.
We can't buy a hit, and a .200 hitter with no HRs just hits one out. Yep, that's how bad it is.
I really hate that the game of baseball just gave up a home run against a .200 hitter with no home runs.

This team is close to playing themselves out of a regional, which really would be fitting because this is not a regional-type team right now.

This rotation (specifically Waldron) is good enough to beat just about anyone, but they have so much extra pressure put on them when they know they have to be nearly perfect for 9 innings so the offense can string together 4 infield singles or hopefully scratch out an unearned run.
