Can’t blame him. Ferentz would turn him into a 2nd-3rd rd draft pick
I saw that, but I remember it differently. After OSU went to the locker room, Iowa went three and out, and had to punt. One of the highlights of this football season was when Iowa played the Buckeyes.
As they were nearing halftime, someone in the stands shot off a starter's pistol. OSU players, thinking it was halftime, left the field.
3 plays later Iowa scored.
That is assuming he wouldn’t have done that at NebraskaCan’t blame him. Ferentz would turn him into a 2nd-3rd rd draft pick
I happened to been born in 1957 and Nebraska has 5 Unbeaten National Titles and Io_ay has Zero..I don't claim any Iowa national titles in football as none occurred in my lifetime. Many fans younger than me may begin to say the same about Nebraska. I enjoyed your great run, but that is getting pretty distant in the rear view mirror.

We're nearly the same age. OK, Boomer!I watched all of yours also and enjoyed them. I am 61 years old though...the younger fans have no memory of Nebraska being great. I'm just saying the longer that gets in the rear view mirror, the less relevant it becomes i.e. Minnesota
I won’t count Minnesota national titles being in the modern era… leather helmets and one platoon football and never winning the Rose bowl for a National titles says it all..I watched all of yours also and enjoyed them. That's just embarrassing...lol
I can’t stand Iowa but phil and Kirk certainly have a better track record of producing nfl LBs than any of our recent staffsThat is assuming he wouldn’t have done that at Nebraska
Those kids he recruited and developed were just becoming draft eligible when her retired. Last year Baylor had the 4th most draft picks in all of CFB and every single one was a Rhule commit.
Sure but typically dudes with NFL ability find their way to the league regardless of where they go to school.I can’t stand Iowa but phil and Kirk certainly have a better track record of producing nfl LBs than any of our recent staffs
Take your crap to the Iowa board where somebody might agree with you. That is silly to say Rhule “developed” them. Either way, let’s play your game and add 20 and 21 to the years rhule coached or recruited kids to Baylor. Baylor then has 12 draft picks to Iowa’s 23. Iowa also has 2 players on active (not ps) rosters as UDFAs. Iowa also has 4 1st rounders to Rhules 0. Ferentz put twice the number of kids in the NFL.
I appreciate you bringing this up. It actually strengthened my argument. I tried to keep it simple for the special kid who started this debate.

That movie would have been 1000 times better had they had a good actor in the lead.
Your first thought was my first thought. If Hausman goes to Iowa and gets drafted, I could totally see Headcard giving Frost full credit. The amount of posters on this board who can give any sort of credit to a rival is dwindling. That is silly to say Rhule “developed” them. Fair post, and a fair point. Only way to rectify that is to start winning again.I don't claim any Iowa national titles in football as none occurred in my lifetime, or the modern era.. Many fans younger than me may begin to say the same about Nebraska. I enjoyed your great run, but that is getting pretty distant in the rear view mirror.
Iowa is kind of like UCF but not as good. They just give themselves championships. They will probably order themselves Big Ten West Runner Up rings and hang a banner as well for this season.Weird that a team could go more than 100 years without winning anything of consequence on the field, yet have 5 natties during that time.

But Keanu is niceThat movie would have been 1000 times better had they had a good actor in the lead.
Oh yeah, as a good a dude that'll come out of Hollywood. But Keanu is nice
So, follow up a dumb comparison with another dumb comparison. That’s the headcard way. It’s “silly” to compare draft picks of a guys first year of a total rebuild at a new school, to another coaches 20th year (or however long KKkurt has been there) at an established program.
Rhule has a history of recruiting and developing at both Temple and Baylor and we really couldn’t care less what you idiot trolls think about it.
So, follow up a dumb comparison with another dumb comparison. That’s the headcard way.
If you truly don’t care, then stop posting about it. Everyone will be much better off when they realize it’s a rivalry and you DO care.
Far too distant for me. Time to wake the sleeping giant and restore the orderI don't claim any Iowa national titles in football as none occurred in my lifetime, or the modern era.. Many fans younger than me may begin to say the same about Nebraska. I enjoyed your great run, but that is getting pretty distant in the rear view mirror.
Just read through the Nebraska game thread on Iowa board, god you Iowa fans are clueless dipsh1ts.I'm not counting the 24 Nattys we have in Wrestling either. Dare to compare.
this is a fantastic postDid I have a fever dream or didn’t Mike Riley have Nebraska in the top 10 for a cup of coffee? Pelini owned Iowa and he wasn’t great either.
If Rhule is the right guy for the job, this will turn around in a hurry. Difference between Nebraska and Minnesota is Nebraska will throw money at it until it works.
I get what you’re saying and I agree with you but the way it is now why would you try to make some money?have to think twice a about a guy who pouts and looks around after STARTING a bunch of games as a true freshman for his home state team. That is pretty petty and disloyal. VERY doubtful he sticks around long term IMO even if he comes back. I would let him slide unless he is really contrite about his actions. He is not that great to be pushing the buttons of the new staff.

He’s also a 18-19 yo kid too. I have a 20 yo and a 19 yo and they do the dumbest shat I never would have dreamed of doing at that ageChecking out his options isn’t that big of a deal imo.have to think twice a about a guy who pouts and looks around after STARTING a bunch of games as a true freshman for his home state team. Correct but LSU refused to play any integrated teams.None of them actually happened, period. Iowa’s most recent “claimed” National Championship was in 1958. As season in which they went 8–1-1 and undefeated LSU ended the season #1 in both the Coaches and the AP poll.
BTW, I watched three Nebraska National Championships in my teenage years.
And the Tigers were still all-white when Nebraska played them in the Orange Bowl after the 1970 season. They integrated in 1971 immediately after losing in the OB to eventual AP national champion Nebraska 17-12.Correct but LSU refused to play any integrated teams.
So just because undefeated LSU who refused to play integrated teams, Iowa at 8-1-1 is justified in their claim to a national championship? Are you really gonna suggest that?Correct but LSU refused to play any integrated teams.
Are you suggesting a team playing limited talented teams by only playing white teams, played a similar schedule? So because undefeated LSU who refused to play integrated teams, Iowa at 8-1-1 is justified in their claim to a national championship? Are you really gonna suggest that?
