NU fan base has always thought of itself as big dog but there have been rumblings as of late the money is a bit tired of writing checks.

Big dollars for coaches followed by more big dollars for NIL. I think in the near term the old die hards who remember the good ole days will keep funding but as family fortunes land in the hands of the kids I think NU will take a step back in terms of what kind of bottomless money pit is on offer.

If it werent for injuries, this team would have been at least NIT bound. The core of Walker Bandoumel Gary and Griesel have played like 5 games together. The biggest issues right now are we are not where we need to be from an NIL standpoint. Creighton is paying Scheurmann 400k this year. Every CU basketball player has a car and an apartment provided to them by their collective. NU cannot compete from a recruiting standpoint until we fix our NIL.
