    Rose Bowl

You're right, sorry, was thinking non power 5. Still those are 3 creampuffs for Alabama.

    Rose Bowl

Most SEC teams play at least 2 FCS teams and only 8 conference games. Alabama played 3 FCS teams this year. Middle Tennessee, ULM and Charleston Southern are FCS, right? Not saying your point isn't good but it's never been held against the SEC.

    Rose Bowl

If North Carolina beats Clemson, they should be in, imo. They will be conference champ and have a better win than Stanford and fewer losses. Not sure if that will happen but it should.

    Rose Bowl

Not necessarily, the Rose Bowl has sole discretion and will also consider division champions and last Rose Bowl appearance (#3 below). So they might pick Iowa. It's most likely Fiesta or Rose if Iowa loses. 1. When not hosting a semifinal, the Big Ten Champion will play in the Rose Bowl Game...

    No disrespect to Iowa

We almost always play well against MSU and struggle against tOSU so I would have to agree. I think we'd be about 50/50 or slightly better against MSU this year. Although I think our QB might do very well indoors if we do get tOSU.

    "Weak / Creampuff" B1G West

Michigan has a good team now that they have Iowa's 2nd string QB. Seriously, they are a fluke play away from a possible playoff spot. Finally found a way to win with a 4 star athlete at every position.

    "Weak / Creampuff" B1G West

That same team lost to Citadel. Florida almost lost to Florida Atlantic. The team that beat Alabama lost to Memphis. Arkansas lost to Toledo. The SEC is not that good this year. Iowa has a different QB and is a much different team than last year.

    "Weak / Creampuff" B1G West

Yes, this is a bit misleading. The Big Ten schedules many more power 5 non-conference games than the SEC. The SEC averages less than 1 power 5 non-conference game per team and still only has 8 conference games so that leaves 3 non-conference non-power 5 creampuffs per team. btw, It will be a...

    "Weak / Creampuff" B1G West

Not even close, the Big Ten West beat Stanford, probably the best non-conference win in college football and cross division MSU. Also, has wins against Pitt and Duke and held TCU to lowest point total of year in a loss.

An 11-0 Iowa team is only a 2.5 point favorite over a 5-6 Nebraska team...

1985 but a lot of teams were more talented than this one. Even the 2009 team had 10 of 11 starters on defense make the NFL. CJ Beathard might turn out to be the most talented QB though, 12-0 as Iowa's starter. This team plays as a team and finds a way to win.

    Curious...

The 1985 team was probably the most talented. We had a QB, RB and OT that all went in the 1st round of the NFL draft in 1986. We were #1 and beat #2 Michigan who had a guy named Harbaugh at QB. Lost to UCLA in Rose Bowl when we had 6 turnovers (5 of them by Ronnie Harmon) or we would have...

Statistical comparison of Iowa and Nebraska

That is interesting. Iowa a 47% chance against Alabama on that site. I'll take it.

Frost on the list at "da U"

Nebraska should hire Frost as the highest paid OC in the country and have him install the Oregon offense.
