What DON'T you like about the new forums?

-Don't like the rounded avatars
-Color scheme is rather plain (too much grey and white)
-Too much dead white space.

Otherwise, it's nice to see Rivals ditch the BBS system from the 1990s.

I always used mostly thread view and if that is still possible, I don't know how to do it. I usually read a thread, post if I want to, follow it for awhile, then let it go. Being in topic view means threads 3-weeks old keep rising to the top when someone decides to post on it.

That is exactly why I used thread view

If you click on the person's avatar you can choose to ignore that person.

Best part about ignore, it finally works on mobile.

Miss the thread view. I used it exclusively.

• No list of active (online) members
• Too much white space in thread listings
  
• Limited smilies (checked one more time and it seems that some have been added)
• No direct way to contact specific moderators (I only see Report button)
• No Sluggo sightings
• Too many Cardinals fans

I just downloaded the rivals app which squeezed all the posts together, and I think that's a big improvement. I also don't like the Hyperlink implementation. Should automatically be underlined. They are not, on my phone. If you want to make your web pages more difficult to navigate, all you have to do is deviate from standardized norms.
