I'd like to see this tried out a few times. When Lubach is catching have Fish DH. When Fish is catching have Lubach DH. Right now both have been swinging the bat well. Fish is faster on the base path than Miller also.

Miller needs to stay in the lineup...but for a guy with his size it would nice to see more pop out of him.Originally posted by k9_r:
Ask DE about Ben Miller. He smiles and says with a chuckle, "That guy is just a natural hitter."
Why do we need pop when we have all that speeeeeeeed!?!?!Originally posted by huskerbaseball13:

+1000. His style of offense is the polar opposite of the way he played the game.Originally posted by blackshirt98:
Miller's lack of "pop" has more to do with the way these guys teach hitting than anything else. Get him out of being so flat to the ball, and you'll start seeing him driving balls into the gaps.
It's an epidemic with the whole offense - there's a reason they struggle to score runs, and it's got more to do with our hitting philosophy than anything else. Erstad preaches something he never did as a hitter, and its mind-numbing.
