YouTube TV vs Hulu?

I’ve tried both. Had better video and recordings with YouTubeTV. I thought Sling was better than Hulu. JMHO.
Agree I have used both in the past and the multi screen viewing for YouTube and an app that never fails make it a no-brainer vs Hulu live.
If I was watching live off data plan my Hulu would fail/skip/freeze constantly.

I'm right here with you, but I do it year around. Over the air networks only for my household. Plus some streaming. This year we've got free Sunday Ticket through Verizon and Big Ten Plus. My only concerns for how to view would be a few Husker football and a handful of VB games that we would otherwise be home for & able to watch.nice to see I’m not the only one who shuts live tv off outside of football season
Another vote for YouTube TV. I've tried them all, including Hulu. Not mentioned is the user interface or functionality or whatever it's called. Basic stuff like menu navigation, fast forward, rewind, etc. YouTube is FAAAAAAARRRRRR superior in that regard.
In the past Hulu packages with B1G were comparable to YouTube. It’s all crazy expensive.
I had Fubo tv last year for awhile to watch Royals baseball. It wasn’t bad at all although I prefer YTTV.
I concur with YouTube Tv. I have had them and fubo and they are the best IMO.
Now, for the timing… this year, two things… we will actually make a bowl 😉 and the playoffs go through mid January.
So, in order to just pay for 4 complete months I am going to subscribe in Mid September as our first two games are on Broadcast TV… means that 4 full months gets me through the playoffs.
Last couple of years I had already canceled by November.. hopefully not ever again

I've had YouTube TV for about 5 years. I like it. I use it when I travel too. It very rarely does not have a college football game on that I want to watch. The exceptions are it did not have the Pac 12 Network so in the past if I wanted to watch some of the Huskies or Cougar games I could not do so without using my brother's Spectrum password. This has become a non-factor with the demise of the Pac 12. The other con for me but will not affect most of you is that is does not have Roots Sports Northwest. Roots Sports Northwest carries the Mariner games (I am just a very casual baseball fan), some regional FCS football games, mostly Big Sky Conference games like Montana (my grandfather went there so I like to watch them) and a good chunk of Gonzaga basketball games. In the fall when I am out pheasant hunting on Sundays, I usually have the app operating on my iPhone so I can watch (listen) to games, running the sound using Bluetooth to my car speakers, as I am driving from field to field. We have pretty good cell service in our rural farm country.
Love the multi-screen function. On Saturdays during college football season, I bring out an old 42-inch Visio TV into the room where I have a Samsung 65-inch TV. I put the main game on the larger TV and use the multi-screen option on the smaller TV
Curious what all you get with Big Ten Plus... Does this allow you to watch any game on BTN as it happens live?
I had youtube TV back when it was $39 a month. Paying $75 now but I still have it.
I've never had it before-- I got in for a free year as an "Oregon fan" being welcomed to the Big 10. From what I've read, you get live volleyball and some other sports. No live football games-- this surprised me, I figured in an 18 team conference a few last pick non-conference games would be shown live. But I think that all of the football games are available the next day.
Umm, get a black box. Pay a cheap sub and get everything from pay per view to all streaming service. Every college football game that has a telecast
Sounds like it would then be cheaper for you to just pay for a streaming service for a month vs. gas and beers.
When the alternative is either other streaming services that cost the same, for the features, or satellite which is twice as expensive, it's still a good deal.
My bill for dish is $188..... it's stupid, but 4 other adults overrule me.....
I know the streaming prices are getting to and above what the old cable prices were that caused the cord cutting, but overall it’s still a nice deal because without contracts I go the four months of the football season and don’t need to pay for the other 8 when I don’t really watch live TV. I do have antennas that pick up all the broadcast stations so this set up is good.
I am looking forward to this epic first season of the 12 team playoff along with the SEC and B1G expanded lineup.
