I remember thinking after meeting him at the Big Red Football School in the summer of 1992, he sort of helped out with drills and whatnot, and then watching his story unfold, that he would have been a great coach someday, had he gotten that chance. Not sure how long he might have stuck in the NFL, but I always thought he may have been the best coaching prospect from the Osborne tree....wondering where he'd be right now, at NU, elsewhere....maybe even coaching in the NFL? Berringer and Frost, those are two great coaching products from Osborne's tenure.
