A lot can change when he sees what the Nebraska offense looks like with a legit qb behind center. I say there is along way to go in his recruitment.
Of course there is a long way to go, he is finishing up his sophomore year of high school this month. As of right now, I'm told LSU leads and Texas A&M is right behind. I don't think he comes to Nebraska even if those two leaders change.
Well, we got a field goal kicker, so why not go after a long-snapper, and a kick-off specialist. Nobody has offered a scholarship to a wedge buster before, that'd be pretty cool, and get us in the news.
Kickoff specialist? I think we've had three scholarship kickers become just that in the recent past.
I never said or claimed i knew anything. Just said they could if they chose to is all. then again they might not. But teams like Bama and other teams in the SEC or any conference at that, over sign and cut players. So why couldn't we?? I seen a few people say there has to be a reason for Riley and co. to cut players i guess. Im no where near an expert in this area or really in any NCAA D1 or any division level expert but id guess theres a way to cut players that are not playing any meaning full minutes in any said game per year.
But realistically or being fair, any of us fans could GUESS at who they could cut by looking at minutes played or lack there of at any time this season comming up. Its really not rocket science to figure out. Who contributes and who does NOT. If not and there just holding up a scholly, why not cut ties, push them to transfer or what ever and sign more this year if we got a shot at higher level talent.
