Wisconsin v. Northwestern

I don't know what to make of this game, of all places Wisky hasn't won in Evanston since 1999 granted they haven't played every year before we even interned the conference..

Northwestern has been playing very good offense football of late, hope they knock off Bucky.

Honestly I'd take Northwestern as well. I still don't think Wisconsin is capable of scoring much more than 24. Granted, Northwestern can be shut down (see Nebraska game) but they do seem to have a bunch of momentum and don't look now but they are also playing for a B1G championship spot as well.

This will determine if we have a chance at the conference championship or a Big 6 bowl.....Depending on the outcome of our game tonight.

A win for either one helps our SOS.

I'm pulling for NW so that tonights game isn't a must win, but in the end I think Wiscy pulls it out. Tonight is going to be HUGE if Wiscy wins.

Tonight is huge regardless. I also don't think Wisconsin is a sure-fire to go throughout the rest of the season without a slip-up. Yes, they play Illinois and Purdue yet, but don't look past the Minnesota game. Any time you have a team that struggles to score more than 17-24 points, they are vulnerable for an upset.

However, the same will be said for Nebraska with games vs. Maryland, Minnesota and @ Iowa. All winnable games where Nebraska should be favored, but when you have a beat up O line and a QB who has shown he can get in a turnover rut, Nebraska is no lock to go clean after Ohio State. I think we've got a lot of fun football left still this season.

I don't see Minnesota beating Wisky in Madison.. This is our best chance today for Wisconsin to slip up other wise no conference title game this year unless we pull the major upset tonight.

So far, this game is making the Nebraska-Wisconsin game look like a high scoring affair.

Because of our oline, I absolutely think we will lose one of those games.

Damn 10-0 Wisky this is not good for us at all...So close to a West championship yet so far...Sigh,

Of the three remaining games after today Minnesota has been playing the best of the remaining teams but they have beaten the lower teams in the conference the past 3 weeks speaking by Rutgers.

Iowa most likely the toughest because they run the clock down and make the other team make the big mistake... Neither of these offenses isn't anything special that our defense can't shout down.

Wiscy is good but NW looks like crap today. Hope they wake up before the game ends.

No matter how injured he is, it must be tempting for Wisconsin to trot the Brazilian guy out there in his street clothes to do their kicking.

Timely holding call on NW, on a play that looked exactly like Wisconsin's TD pass last week. Last week it was referred to as great blocking, today it's an obvious holding call.

Damn, why do QBs who look all-pro against us choke against everybody else. You take the sack there and kick the FG, not attempt to be the hero.

I despise Wisconsin
They're not as easy to hate as when Fat Fatliema was on the sidelines, but it's amazing how Wisconsin seems to get every close call. That "non-catch" just now by NW was certainly worth a review, but, "nah, let's play on."

What gets me as much as they run they hardly ever get called for holding.

I can safely say that I have never, ever visited a 'non-participating' team's board while Nebraska was playing.

Wiscy didn`t need any help today. Wiscy is very good but NW didn`t want to play today.

Minnesota isn't beating UW. UW has won 11 straight and 19 of the last 21 in the series. Game is in Madison too. NU has to win out to go to the championship game.

I don't see the Gophers even being competitive against you at home.

If we win out we play in the championship game then a Big 6 bowl.

If we lose tonight and win out. We will play in a Big 6 bowl. Our only 2 losses will be to 2 top 10 teams on the road, and one in overtime.

This season has potential to be great regardless of tonight.

Enjoy Nebraska football in 2016.
