No you don'tI watched him, and yes, he made mistakes. He wasn't just solid, he was great last year. This year he's less solid. But he's still our best option, he's still very good in run support, and I support our players 100% even when they're not playing their best.
Well duh, since when would an opponent not take advantage of a weak link in the D? Of course they are going to pick on him. The way you phrase it, his negative exposure is a result of our opponents going after him. They are going after him because they know he can be beaten. Some of that is because our opponents are going after him. He's a good player but lacks the kind of size or extreme athleticism that some of the guys he's trying to tackle possess. OSU had a couple of guys who will be early NFL draft picks.
that’s exactly what I’ve posted several times. 😉Well duh, since when would an opponent not take advantage of a weak link in the D? Of course they are going to pick on him. Look at the other idiots in this thread who want to trash one of our best players from last year. He's having a rough year so far, I will admit that. But he still does a lot of things right, especially when it comes to run support, and he's our best option. Instead of trashing him, I want to give him a chance to redeem himself and have a great end to the season. No you don't
there you go again calling other posters idiots…. 🙄Look at the other idiots in this thread who want to trash one of our best players from last year. Fixed it for you.I watched him, and yes, he made mistakes. He wasn't just solid, he was great last year. This year he's less solid. But he's still our best option, he's still very good in run support, and I supportourmy favorite players 100% even when they're not playing their best.
Seems so. Decent speed for a LB. Not for a safety.Giff’s football future, should he make one for himself, is at OLB
I've had that dope on ignore for over a year so I can't read it's posts, but it always warms my heart to see them schooled. Well done.Fixed it for you.
Reactionary idiots, yes. We just played by far the two best offenses we will play this year. And Gifford didn't look so good in those two games, but neither did most of the rest of the defense.there you go again calling other posters idiots…. 🙄
BumpWhat happened to prince can’t spell his complete name, is he hurt or just isn’t consistent with his playing?
They've got a backup outside hitter who has a kid in middle school.Do what Wisconsin volleyball does. Some of their players have been there 8-10 years (a couple could be lifers and get documentaries made about them).

I talk our players up and everyone else in this thread is bashing them. Don't turn this on me."I support our players 100% even when they're not playing their best".
No you don't. Maybe for Gifford since you've talked him up so much. At least be honest.
I don't blame him for that play. That was more on the defensive alignment that left him on an island against an elite receiver that would burn 98% of the DBs in college football. Gifford has missed a lot of one on one tackles though and just looks slower than last year. He had a few big interceptions last year and this year he has none. Coming into this season I thought he was potentially all-conference but he just hasn't had a great year. The last four games maybe he'll show better. The guy he was chasing after is also just an insane athlete and would make just about any safety look bad. Gifford's fine, he deserves and is going to start the rest of the year. Hoping he can step it up the rest of the year and get back to where he left off after a great 2023 season. I think there's a much better chance of that happening than expecting a freshman to come in and immediately play at a high level.
An intelligent response that focuses on football rather than bashing the poster with any personal vendettas you have. BTW, I don't disagree with any of what you said. More discussion like this would make this board a much better place.I don't blame him for that play. The other guy that I thought was a potential All-American is Nash Hutmacher. He's been double-teamed all year and that's a factor, but he doesn't seem as dominant up front. Ty Robinson has been the more dominant player. last year it was the other way around. I expect Robinson to be a top-3 round draft pick.
Benhart has been criticized a lot but he is one guy that has really played well this year in my opinion. I also think he has played himself into the draft.
MeCheatin comin' with a bag o' cash.2 stud freshman LB's.
