Proof that once again, nothing good happens at a bar after midnight if you're a well known athlete...or something like that.

Is TB even going to be out of jail for the game. Striking an officer is a very serious offense.

Good question. I expect to hear about how the officer called him a racist sort of name at any moment and while that is being investigated, perhaps he'll be allowed to play. That's about the only way I think he could possibly suit up because you're right, hitting a cop is a big no-no.

Great friend of mine hit a cop way back in high school, 1985ish, and to this day if he gets pulled over a second cop always shows up minutes later, 30 freaking years later.

Report this morning said he threw an "indiscriminate punch" and just happened to connect with a SA bike cop.

What a dummy.

That sucks, and I feel kind of bad for him to be honest. Yes he put himself there, but I am sure he knows he screwed up royally at this point and that one little moment could possibly affect him for a really long time, and losing the chance to play in the bowl?...Dang that sucks. Hate to see that happen to the kid, any kid.

i wouldnt be surprised if he plays.

indiscriminate punches thrown in the general direction of police officers is ill advised.

If he plays the coach shows nothing except he loves money and winning. Nothing of caring for his players or the rules, including his own since he was out after bed check curfew.

He was really focused on that bowl game wasn't he? Patterson lost a previous QB to rehab didn't he? It is named Texas "Christian" University and was founded that way, but don't think it is much different than any other big private U at this point.
