On January 6th, when the final AP Poll comes out, will Iowa still be ranked after closing out the season with 3 straight losses?

Depends on how badly they lose the next three games - If they show well they will be ranked int he teens due to easy schedule
If NU beats them soundly - If They lose big in the Big10 title game and then lose the bowl game they will struggle to be in the top 20

I find the lact of respect for Iowa from Nebraska fans interesting. Not saying that this is not posible as I have thought the game at Nebraska would be tough all year but this is a good Iowa team and Nebraska will have to play a mistake free game to beat Iowa. As far as the B1G championship game has Ohio State really impressed you that much that you can say Iowa would not have a chance in this game? I would not be surprised if Michigan ends up in B1G game againt Iowa. As far as Bowl game other than Alabama I think Iowa would be a tough game for any team. There is NOT a great team out there this year. SEC overall is NOT that great this year. I don't think any other conference is better than B1G this year. I wish that Nebraska would have won 6 games this year and been bowl eligable as I enjoy watching all the B1G teams in bowl games. But since you now have to beat Iowa to get their I don't think it is going to happen unless Nebraska ends up being one of the 5 loss teams that goes bowling this year. Its not lack of respect - Its an acknowledgement your season is built on an incredibly easy schedule - even then the games for the most part have been close. It is telling that a 5 win team ( NU) is being picked by many to win this game - Even if we lose I see absolutely no way the Big10 titkle game is even close.

The lack of respect for Iowa is more for the dumbshits that come over here constantly pumping their chest like they've already won the National Title. I get it, Io_a can chirp a little bit because they have had a great season, but when they say it is historic and an all timer it is pretty comical. I wouldn't call dodging OSU, MSU, UM a historic season. You play who is put ahead of you, and no doubt Io_a would have a shot to win those games, but be a little real. I give them credit. They have beat everyone on their schedule, and are not making mistakes. if they get to the next level and don't make mistakes, they are going to be in the game at least. It would be interesting to see what they would do against some of the teams with big time talent that are rolling right now. Bama, Clemson, OU would all be pretty tough matchups.
Good one. We have lost to Iowa State 7 times since 1962. You have lost to them 10 times in the last 17 years. Iowa State is Purdue. Damn you guys are dumb.

Amazing how many "fans" all of a sudden Iowa has. At the start of the season they were having trouble selling tickets and I think their season ticket sales were under 40,000. Now all of a sudden they are crawling all over our board. Weird.

I know id give a bit more credit if they'd play some decent teams this year, you guys have won your games but after the Purdue game is when the strongest part of your year starts, if i was an Iowa fan, id wait and see how we faired in the next few weeks before i thought we equalled OSU, Bama and the big dog's. You guys may very well get beat by a Husker team thats not even a 500 team at the moment. Don't mistake, the Huskers are healthy now, have probably more talent then Iowa and you guys have to come to Lincoln to play while being ranked in the top 10 and will defently get there best Friday.
Interesting the easy schedule comment. We are in the same division as Nebraska and had Wisconsin and Northwestern on the road and won while Nebraska played them at home and lost both. You played a bad Miami team and an OK BYU team. Iowa state is just as good as Miami this year and Pitt is just as good as BYU. You got to play a bad rutgers team we played Maryland. We played IU who gave OSU, Michigan, and Michigan State all they could handle, while you played MSU. Our schedules are not that much different and we will get to play the best team from the East in the Big 10 championship.

The Big 10 schedule is comparable, but the non-con you can't make comparisons. You guys have a bad non con, and have no even decent games coming up in the future. ISU is a bad team. Iowa schedules like the SEC for the non con.
I agree, we don't have a killer schedule but we have a tougher one then Iowa, thats for sure. And theres no way in hell do i compare Iowa State to Miami, its not even close talent wise. Put the 2 teams head to head, Miami smacks them around. Just face it, you guys had it easying going and you guys did what your suppose to, win the games. Now if you pulled Michigan, MSU or OSU and this same record, id probably bow a little. Just make sure you come back after the Husker game and say hi, im saying this because im pretty sure we hand you guys your first loss. Don't go into hinding after the game.
No one is saying we have a great team this year and our schedule was killer - ISU is not comparable to Miami sorry - Pitt- BYU is a good comparison this year - you won that game in the last minute and we lost ours to a hail mary. Please do not try and build up Indiana -they have not won a Big10 game yet this year. They have a good offense but are far from a good team

Should have added, Iowa played the 55th toughest schedule. Nebraska has played the 51st. Not a significant difference.
