So Penn state got Notre Dame’s leftover boys?He wasn’t into catholic priests from what I recall. But some kids are apparently and I guess they have a place like ND that can caters to their off field needs.
“It’s weird, gross, gay and questionably legal… Notre Dame.”

And if your Aunt had balls she would be your uncle. If NIL was a thing back Then Dr Tom and Nebraska would have been screwed.
I think that was Kordell Stewart (and we got Berringer in that class).I thought it was down to Nebraska and Colorado
Heard the response to this decades ago. At one point it appeared that Notre Dame was the leader. Then Lou Holtz came to Bradenton for an in-home visit with Tommie and his mother. After that evening visit for a few hours after Holtz had left Tommie and his mother had some concerns. A few nights later T.O. came to their home for a visit. At the end of that evening Tommie and his mother were both impressed and very comfortable with T.O. especially compared to the head coach at ND. Then it was more of a battle with Clemson. Tommie's mom felt even if it meant going to school half way across the country she trusted T.O. to take care of her son and that made the decision for both of them. The rest is history.Anyone care to recap that one?

Absolutely. Kevin Steele did a remarkable job recruiting Frazier and laid a ton of groundwork. Then T.O. was able to come in and close the deal. Now don’t forget the important card games Kevin Steele had with Tommie’s mom. That has been well documented over the years.
