I would have to say what I saw out there is what I expected based off of the comments Riley had made after the two scrimmages this fall.
1) He was concerned about our inability to run the ball consistently. Most attributed to our D-Line play. (I did not realize our 5 starters on the o-line has a combined 19 starts after yesterday.)
2) We gave up way too many big plays in the passing game in both scrimmages, Riley referenced this more than once.
3) There was no pressure from our D-Ends in the fall.
4) Riley also discussed how they needed to "clean-up" procedural penalties.
I would say based off the comments made by Riley over the last 3 weeks, what I saw yesterday is exactly what I expected to see against a good opponent.
