Who will be favored?

Iowa already will not be starting their best WR, a starting corner back, and a starting O-lineman.

Please tell me you aren't firing up the excuse train this early before the game is played.
Both teams have injured players.

Please don't tell me that those are the most important position on the field.... Rather have an O-Line starter out rather than your starting QB no brander if you ask me.

The QB touches the ball every down except 4th, your smart enough to know how important the position is.

Vandeberg is a very average WR who happens to catch the ball when it's thrown to him more often than not (hence, far and away the best WR...for Iowa). Mabin was a cornerback who most Iowa fans wanted benched for poor play before his injury. Hardly devastating losses on their side.

No arguments there.... Iowa buddy says he is equivalent to our Jordan Westercamp.

Equivalent to Westy in skill or in worth to the team? Worth to the team yes....skill level, no. He is good but Westy if one of the best in the conference and nation.

I don't care if Iowa starts their entire 2nd string as long as Nebraska beats them.

I think either of our QB's can get the job done this week. I just have a good feeling about this one.

Pretty comparable players. And both in top decile of the conf when both were healthy
