Who do you think will be the 1st commit since 2017 NSD and the 4th overall for 2018? Willie Hampton was our first 2017 commit and he committed on March 9, 2016. Fortunately, we are already ahead of last year's start because of super-early commits from Cameron Jurgens, Masry Mapieu and Eric Fuller Jr.

But if we want to be top 15 next year, our staff has to push the envelope. It's how the Alabamas, and Ohio States finish strong because their work is pretty much done already way ahead of time. The good news is it appears Riley and staff have already identified this. My top 3 guesses that I think will pull the trigger in the next month or two:

1- Grahm Roberts - RB - 3* and brother of Avery Roberts. Reminds me a hybrid between Devine Ozigbo and Imani Cross. Offers from Nebraska, Syracuse and North Carolina. If not in the next month, I think he will be N sometime this spring or early summer.

2- Brendan Radley-Hiles- Because of Tyjon Lindsey being his cousin, we have a serious shot at his services. He transferred from Calabasas to IMG academy, so now enter the $EC schools knocking at his door. But you have to like ours chances even more now with Donté Williams and Bob Diaco as his lead recruiters. We would likely be in or very close the Top 10 in recruiting rankings if ends up commiting to the Blackshirts. He would be a magnet for the rest of the class if he commits early.

3- Will Farniok
- OC/FB - No Rating* yet and Brother of Matt Farniok. Has 5 offers already from Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Notre Dame and Virginia. Appears to be a Nebraska lean. Coach Cav needs to add on to top 2016 signees John Raridon and Matt Farniok and 2017s Matt Sichterman and Brendan Jaimes.

I think your three are pretty good picks. It'll be interesting to see if it is someone, like Hampton, that was unexpected.

My third guess was going be something along those lines. I just couldn't help but think BRH is such an intriguing sell now for Williams, Diaco and our soon-to-be assistant coach. If #4 is not one of these three, I'm hoping we can get a big surprise out of Missouri soon.

We need Bookie and a high profile QB to jump aboard as soon as possible to get the momentum going. If you can go into a kid's house and say you have a top 10 recruiting class currently, it'll only help your cause.

Langs does a good job getting his QBs lined up, but ironically he seems to be doing better on '19 than '18 right now (IMO). Looks like Yankoff is the top target right now for '18.

This little post was just what I needed after my National Letter of Intent Day hangover. Thanks, I now feel better.

After further replay it looks like Yankoff dove head first as soon as the A gap opened up, gaining the 6 inches he needed for the first down.

Yankoff, who still has 20/20 vision, hits Lindsey right down the middle

I hope we go after a big time RB this round. I mean the best RB possible.

Ummmm IF you guys actually want to land the kid, maybe you should stop with the juvenile ridiculous jokes about his name.

I watched quite a bit of Calabassas football in 2016, for obvious reasons. I often thought Bookie was the best player on the field in almost every game. He is incredible.

I believe we are going after Pledger pretty hard.
If one is looking for a small guy that can take it outside, then Pledger surely fits the bill.

I would like to see us get a bigger more powerful guy this year. I really liked Kirby Bennett's film. Something about the way he runs reminds me more like the backs we used to have back in the day. (kid has an insanely long offer list)

I should have played the powerball on these picks! 2 of 3 so far since 2017 NSD. Any chance Grahm Roberts commits today?
