I was just curious who (like me) flies in for Husker games? What is your home airport? Where do you fly into (Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, KC or elsewhere)? How many games to you attend a season in Lincoln?
My answers:
1. Tucson (closest airport, but Phoenix is usually a LOT cheaper). So, I fly about 70% of the time out of Phoenix.
2. Almost always into Omaha. For the first time in years, I will fly into Lincoln for just the Fresno State game. I have already booked my flights for the whole season and the remainder of the games will be flights into Omaha. I fly in on Thursday nights, work From my hotel on Friday (and do not even burn a vacation day) and fly home at various times on Sunday depending on price and availability. I fly American Airlines for most every flight.
3. I attend all home games every season. I try for one away game and/or a bowl per season.
