I'm interested in Masry Mapieu's development this fall. Not sold on this kid just yet.
One of the perils of offering a guy early is you project where they might play based on what you are running at the time. With the change to the 3-4 it MAY change what type of players you are looking for. That all presents an interesting dilemma.
I think some more IMG kids get thrown in the fold. It sounds like BRH is coming to the spring game and bringing a group of IMG guys with him.

Not MAY change the types of players we go after but WILL change the type we go after. We need premium NG's first and foremost. One of the perils of offering a guy early is you project where they might play based on what you are running at the time. Looks like we just got 3 new CB predictions for Manuel Allen in the last 24 hours, making us a heavy favorite to land him. Anyone think we can pull off landing a commit from him and from BRH during our spring game?? What about Grahm Roberts?
The level of talent we're seeing and pursuing actively is really, really exciting.
That's good news about Manuel Allen since he de-committed from USC on Feb 24. Since it looks like he is a big N lean, I'm guessing he'll be here April 15. The spring game weekend is arguably our most important weekend for recruiting the entire year (besides NSD). It allows recruits to truly get a feel for campus but more importantly it allows the coaches to connect and interact with them more due to not playing an actual game.
Bookie is going to commit in July on the anniversary of his brother's passing. He would be such a huge recruit for the 2018 class. I don't know if people realize how much other top talent would want to swarm around him for next year's class if he were to be N.
Grahm Roberts is my guess for our next commit but I'm not going to be a betting man. GR has listed himself as a fullback or running back, but to me he looks more like a D1 fullback. He, like his current early-enrollee brother Avery Roberts, did not play exceptional competition in Delaware but he is a downhill bruiser.
