You are so right. How many times did the Huskers trot out T-Mart, Tommie Armstrong and Adrian when they had no business playing. Most of the time it was because there was no good alternative. I don't think that is case now.
It’s the tenth game. All starting qb’s are hurting by now, but most would/should play. So if Raiola or his doctors say he can’t go, he won’t — but otherwise he will. This is the son of one of the toughest, meanest NFL players ever. I will be shocked if he doesn’t play unless they have been lying about his back injury.
HH is a “good alternative”? Memories are short.
I think some are confusing "Is the only other person on the roster who has played QB at the P5 level" with "good alternative".
Unless it leaks it’s anyone’s guess. Rhule suspended all media availability for the staff and players this week.
Rhule appears to be pulling out all the stops to get bowl eligible. Hiring a new OC to start immediately and then not allowing media at practice this week. Hope it pays off, have my doubts that he won't fumble yet another opportunity.

They didn't beat a crappy UCLA and still rarely identify the blitz and hit the hot receiver. The doubt is in the room with us.
The fact Satt didn’t have any counters to blitzes shows his incompetence. 8 year olds who play Madden can identify blitzes better than him.

UCLA had a really tough early season schedule. They may not be great but seem to be a much better team now than the early season results. Just ask Iowa.
