No, I am the biggest cop supporter in the world.
But he chased down a guy and grabbed him and turned him around. Unless you are cuffing him for something, that is an overreaction.
He could have just as easily taken 3 more steps and got next to him and said "Hey, coach, so that is not something __________________" and handled it like that.
All these coaches lie about this stuff. They are just like everyone else. They lie to cover their ass.
And? You think DR yelling at him “f you … I could kick your ass” gives the rent a cop the right to go at him (as DR is casually strolling across the field, away from pickle) and grab him? Do you believe that?
One point is that Fickell’s security detail had no more authority to do anything other than physically do what any other citizen would reasonably do. The rent a cop was out of line.
How often did you call the authorities on your neighbors during Covid ?
One of our neighbors' college aged daughters, who was home because of covid, had a bunch of her sorority sisters over for a pool party. Yeah, some dumbass called the cops on it.

Exactly. I'm in security myself, and we can't exactly just walk up and grab anyone by the arm let alone aggressively.
A good security officer knows their damn role - we're NOT cops (thank God).

If I lived next door I couldn't have called the police because it takes two hands to steady my binoculars.
The point is the "cop" had no authority.

Obviously the cop’s job was to protect the coach against physical harm, not hurt feelings. I imagine the cop’s boss has already had a pointed discussion with him about his behavior.
Taking pics would have been a little creepy don’t you think? I mean, I thought it was bad enough that I exposed them to my full frontal nudity while I jerked off in the window
