I'm obviously not alone in feeling good about the reports coming out of fall camp. The thing that stands out to me the most, however, is the attitude of the players. When I listen to player interviews on HOL, I almost always hear them reject the notion of competition between players. Instead, they talk about being in it together and pushing each other to get better. It's not that I think competition among teammates is a bad thing -- it isn't -- and obviously, they are truly competing with one another on a daily basis. But, it seems like it's healthy competition for the sole purpose of making the team better. Egos don't seem to be an issue, which is pretty amazing given the talent a lot of these players have. There just seems to be more of a team first feel here. To me, it's a real credit to the culture Mike Riley cultivates. We'll see how it all plays out, but for now, it's pretty impressive. FWIW
