Didn't you assure us that TA4 would be better this season as well? I hope you are right and it is certainly possible. It just seems like there are still plenty of question marks, not to mention a lack of depth that will take a few years at best to fix. So I guess I'm not banking on crap. Lol

Well I normally don't remember that stuff, but I remembered this because you were so adamant about it and jumped down some people's throats after they implied nothing has changed after TA4 had a bad scrimmage. I always wondered what you were seeing that the rest of us weren't. I'm not stalking you, promise!

Seriously on the subject, Don't pay too much attention to what is said. They must say nice things about the Seniors (and I will add some of them have helped in every aspect). Every year is different and I will hand it to this coaching staff to sticking to their guns. They have redshirted a ton of good players and we will be unveiling them this next year.
When Riley said lets build it the right way from the ground up, He Meant It. I like that. Did it hurt this year? Yes. Very. But although we have a very very long way to go to get to the top, this next year feels like a big step. The recruiting ending on a high note is for the future. Thank god its not for the next year. That seems like what we have been doing for while now.
So Keep The Faith True Husker Fans. Much like other great traditional programs (alabama,etc) We Will Be Back. GBR

Could it be that an elementary understanding of the difference between "saw" and "seen" is throwing you off?

I noticed Clemson and OSU both had a freshman starter on the OLine and they were playing for all the marbles. I'm not bagging on your post that we owe a lot to the senior walk ons, we do, but I never understood the philosophy that underclassmen can't play and do well in an offensive line.

They also had the number 3 and 6 recruiting classes and Im pretty sure both were the top OL recruits for each team. Yes younger players can start but OL is the least likely position for an underclassman to start.

I think some people are getting dangerously close to just accepting mediocrity. In a way, it comes off as the Nebraska glass heart syndrome. People all over the country laugh, whether it is the Vol fans in the stand, or analysts on ESPN Game Day.. The player and fan alike are stricken with it, any kind of criticism, smirk, disingenuous remark or otherwise, and the glass heart goes on full display. This thread is just additional proof.
