Well, this is a terrible start

I don't know what is worse. The Huskers shooting or these announcers.

Did we even approach him?

I don't know for sure, but I know we were told "no" by three different coaches. People are full of shit when they say no one wants to coach the football team. They are 100% accurate when they said the same about the basketball team.

You're either drunk or high. We were a bad team from start to finish last year.

No, we were a bad team from that game on. We had just beat FSU on the road the game before. Nebraska mentally went into a shell after getting bitch slapped in Lincoln.

That's nonsense. You think we were bad for 2+ months because we lost to Creighton? That Florida State team was 17-16 last year. It's not like we knocked off some kind of juggenaut. We had already posted a loss to Rhode Island earlier in the year as well.

They may have exposed us, they didn't change the trajectory of the season.

Next game after CU last year?????

Incarnate Word. Still think that did not cause a tail spin?

This is ridiculous. Move the ****ing ball. Get Morrow in there and let him bang inside against their chubby white post players.

I'd bet my house he'd never come to Nebraska, barring an ungodly salary offer.

I don't know about never. Miles is building a talent pool that is going to be more attractive than Creighton in anohter year or two. But he sure as hell wasn't going to come here to take over the Dumpster Fire saddler built.

Yes. Because I know we were bad from the beginning of the season. The next game after Incarnate Word???????? Tourney team Cincinnati. So let me get this straight, you think the CU started a tailspin, even though we beat Cincy and Michigan State, and then clubbed Northwestern 76-60. THEN we lost 9 games in a row to finish the year. That's a weird, delayed tailspin.

Greg McDermott hasnt won anything. Even with his All American son they didnt win the Little East or make the Sweet 16. He did nothing at ISU and as soon as he left they became contenders. Stop acting like he's some great coach thats too good for NU, he'd take this job in a heartbeat.

Well, after starting out down 21-7, we outscored Creighton 23-15. Here's hoping whatever our problem was to start the game has been fixed.

Yes. Psyche was extremely delicate. MSU was a big win, but we didn't beat a full strength MSU at the time.

Havent watched much of any of this half but a 36-30 game seems like anyones in the second half

Yeah, his .616 winning percentage blows ass.

I'm a BIG Tim Miles supporter, but you want to talk about not winning anything.....

The one thing I notice about Creighton every year during this game is that they are constantly moving on offense, whereas we are constantly sitting on our ass on offense. Their passing is a lot crisper than us too. See this same crap every year.

Talent was extremely non-existent. Had nothing to do with Psyche. We had Petteway and Shields and a cast of guys who couldn't hit the broad side of the barn. I'm not sure why you're pushing this narrative so hard, but the Creighton game didn't change our season. Like i said, it may have exposed us for what we were (if the Rhode Island game didn't do that already) but it didn't change anything. Except we lost 18 games instead of 17.

Dana Altman is the Creighton coach we should have hired. He turned Oregon around in a hurry.

McDermott was worse at ISU than Doc was here, despite having multiple future NBA draft picks.

Yep. I'd go a step further and say if we can just play like we did for the last 10 minutes of the first half, all the way through the second half, we win this going away. We have more talent this year. That's a change from the last four years.

No he would not. He's not leaving CU any time soon. I'd see him stepping away so he can watch his son play his NBA career long before he'd spur CU to go to Nebraska.

Huff comes.off the bench for the 2nd, instead of sitting for 17 plus minutes.

Well, you're wrong again. You honestly don't think he'd leave a Creighton team that is moving backwards for a Nebraska team that will have more talent on it's roster next season than we've had in 30 years? I'm not saying I want him to leave, because I want to see what Miles can do with the kids he's recruiting, but it's not like McDermott is some born and bred Bluejay for life.

And it's spurn.

Whatever. They had so much inested emotionally in beating them, then, went down the tubes. Completely different team pre and post CU.

I'm wrong? Do you know the man?

Yup. I have always liked their high post game.

Actually, I know him a little bit. He coached at Wayne when I was there. Had a good friend who played for him. Talked to him a couple of times. Oddly, he never mentioned his life long love affair with Creighton.

And he was at Wayne how long ago? WTF does that have to do with where he is in life today?

You're right. Clearly you know more about him than I do. I'm assuming you've not only met him but are good friends with him? Someone he knows?

Awesome, came out playing exactly as shitty in teh second half as we started the game.

I'm outty before newAD claims 2018 season is ruined because of this loss.
