In discussing the critical need to protect a superior's confidentiality, the superior's assistant invoked the "honor" of Joe Paterno and, apparently, the manner in which JoePa protected the confidentiality of child rapers.

“Why don’t you honor the job? You remember Joe Paterno? What would he say? Act like you’ve been there before,” [the assistant] said during a phone interview. “Act with honor and dignity and respect, and hold the confidence of the [superior] in his office. Why don’t we do that?”​

Indeed. Let us ALL strive to emulate a great man who courageously protected his child-raping friends.
