Take that, Iowa.
Can he tackle?Just keep him away from foley
In fairness to Caleb, who was not a great punter, he never had a chance to learn how great punters do it, due to our tragedy...The punter/Washington combo scares me. Still have visions of the Caleb Lightbourne blooper reel in my head 🙃

Nice avatar.“Your form is off a bit, let me show you how you do it”
You mean the Clarkeyes. You will NEVER out punt IOWA!!!
watch some other football. Punt returns aren't as common as some think. Can we please get a punt returner? Not a fair-catcher.
We need to scheme to allow for punt returns. What we do doesn't provide much of an opportunity. Can we please get a punt returner? Not a fair-catcher.
Man what little I watched last night, other teams cover SOOOOOOO much better and faster than we do. Again surprise surprisewatch some other football. Punt returns aren't as common as some think.
And IF you do get a few yards on a return it seems like 80% of the time you get called for holding.... Just sayin. There's a reason why fair catches are so common across football. We need to scheme to allow for punt returns. What we do doesn't provide much of an opportunity.
There were about a half dozen guys in the Big 10 who averaged more than 10 yards a punt return. Somehow other teams make it work. Nobody is allowed to watch special teams practice, but I suspect that NU puts in less time on special teams than any other team in the Big 10. And when we do practice it, it must be at the end of practice or at the start of practice. Maybe they do it as a warmup? Sounds stupid, but hey, how many kicks did we get blocked this year? It's bad year after year.watch some other football. Punt returns aren't as common as some think.
Everyone can see that Foley should have been let go by now, and he keeps hanging around. There were about a half dozen guys in the Big 10 who averaged more than 10 yards a punt return. To add to this, whenever they do practice ST, I’m curious if there is consistency of who is available? Guys getting to practice late due to ‘classes’, getting extra treatment from training staff, etc. The old adage of “You play like you practice “ might apply here. There were about a half dozen guys in the Big 10 who averaged more than 10 yards a punt return. Yep, it all comes down to hang time.watch some other football. Punt returns aren't as common as some think.
It might be more than just Foley. Not to defend him, but this might be a not putting in enough time or emphasizing it enough issue.Everyone can see that Foley should have been let go by now, and he keeps hanging around.
It’s been my biggest pet peeve about Rhule..
And we get exactly the type of results you would expect if that is how it is being done.To add to this, whenever they do practice ST, I’m curious if there is consistency of who is available?
