What they say about him sounds an awful lot like another Ndomokong Suh all over again. The way he throws quarterbacks and running backs around as well as his stats this year 61 tackles from a DT position 10 sacks and 9 QB hurries is absolutely nutso! His size height is what Suh was and it won't take the training staff long to put on that extra muscle and weight that Suh had either. Sounds like he also has Suh's motor! If Frost and staff land him, that's a grand slam right there as he sounds as he has very nasty attitude in a good way! Just imagine if he turns out to be is good as Sue was or maybe even better, how much fear is that going to put an opposing team's knowing what kind of unstoppable Beast that Sue was?

I won't get my hopes up thinking he could be as good or better than Suh someday.

The only setback I see in this whole process is the same situation Osborne had to deal with back in 78 or 79 was a RB by the name of Spencer Tillman wanted to come to NU and play for coach Oz and ended up falling back on his plan B which was OU because we didn't offer what he wanted to major in and that was Oil and Land Management. Same situation here with this kid as wants to major in Petroleum Engineering and I highly doubt we offer that program! Hopefully that won't be the deal breaker for him with us.

NU doesn't offer that type of engineering, but neither do some of the other schools he's looking at.

surely we can put 5-10 sham drills scattered around on campus in prep for his visit

No one will ever be the beast Suh was. Ever. No one. Nebraska or otherwise.

Doesn't mean he can't be very good, all conference or american material etc etc.

He also wants to major in engineering like Suh did. Though I believe that Suh was Construction Engineering. I doubt many schools outside of Texas and Oklahoma offer a Petroleum Engineering Degree. However, I would think Mechanical Engineering would be pretty close.

Just curious if anyone knows...Does Suh still visit Lincoln from time to time or was there some sort of disconnect between him and UNL? I thought at one point he had a condo near PBA.

He sold that condo a couple years ago. But he's donated a lot of money to the university. Our weight room is still named for him. I remember a couple of years ago he was going to build a Nike retail store next to campus but that didn't work out.

He is involved in a ton of business and charity ventures. Frost and Moos would be wise to get him back involved more with the athletic department. He is very smart and savvy (off the field anyway) and could probably be a major asset for us in some capacity.

He’d dominate at the Colorado School of Mines!

OMG What are you thinking posting a rational thought on this message board. Don't you know all of our recruits and transfers are going to be 1st rounders?

Good thing you're not over-hyping the kid.
