Last night was another gut punch to the program and all of us, but Scott Frost was right when he said, "We are where we are right now". Look folks, last night had to do with coaching, scheme, or motivation. Ohio State has way better players than Nebraska right now. It wouldn't have mattered if Tom Osborne or Jesus Christ was coaching Nebraska last night. Ohio State still would have beat us. As painful as it is, we have to give the coaches more time to recruit and develop.

As I said after Colorado, we're already hearing some "Fire Frost" grumblings. That's crazy talk. Frost is in year two of a seven year deal. He isn't going anywhere, and nor should we want him to. People refuse to admit that the reason Nebraska has struggled so much over the past 20 years is because it's hard to win here. Most top tier coaches aren't banging down the door to come to Lincoln. We got the coach that everyone in the country wanted. We need to hope and pray that he can get this thing turned around, because if Scott can't do it, God only knows who can.

We need to shift our attention from Ohio State to Northwestern because I truly believe that this week's game is the most important game of the year for Nebraska. Nebraska's top goal at this point needs to be bowl eligibility. Losing this week would greatly hinder our chances of achieving that goal. This is a game that Nebraska should win. Nebraska is at home and will be favored. For whatever reason, Northwestern seems to have Nebraska's number. Nebraska needs to win this week or getting to a bowl game will become difficult, and the season could be sent into a spiral.

The season isn't over folks, so everyone needs to stop acting like it is. It's time to move on from last night and focus on the most important game of the year against Northwestern. This week is a must win.
