I feel bad for the kid. I love his demeanor, maybe he'd be better off at a different position next year. Neither he or Sims will ever play in the pros as a qb, I hope they don't let pride get in their way and switch to something where they don't handle the ball. I think both would make killer linebackers.

Church it up all you want but HH is near the.bottom in overall qb rating, 106th. There are only a handful of P5 qb's rated worse than him. It's going to be very unlikely we'll win three more games with a qb playing at that level.
The really bad part is he attempts throws he doesn't have the ability to complete. Triple covered recievers who won't catch it anyway. He has obviously been told to slide which negates his only strength.
Rhule should spend some time analyzing what the Kst coach did with AM last year. Played within the framework of his capabilities. Was he great? No, and that was never going to happen but he wasn't the mistake monster he was here. We need to isolate recievers as HH doesn't have good progression capabilities. And he has to stop throwing to covered recievers, its retarded.
That site must not realize that a fumble by HH is actually counted as two fumbles for sims.
I expect Haarberg to get better but I don’t think his ceiling is nearly as high as some think. They’re trying to give him easy throws and he isn’t consistently finding open guys and hitting them. I know it’s not as easy as it would seem from our recliner but if you’re going to play at the P5 level you have to be able to make those plays.
QBR is based on efficiency not just total number of attempts. It factors yards per attempt, interceptions and TDs per attempt as well as other metrics. His 106th rating is accurate. Some of his lack of production obviously is affected by the players around him but strength of defenses faced is also factored in. It’s a very complicated formula.
Yes but having such a small sample doesn't make it super meaningful.
Not saying he's a great thrower of the ball, but he's not playing in an offense that's conducive to big numbers. The runs are runs, and the passes are down the field passes, not dink and dunks for big YAC
He clearly has a large enough sample size to say he’s not a good passer. He’s had wide open guys he doesn’t see or can’t hit.

Fans would have had enough of him so far. his sample size of badness is 6 times worse than sims vs horrible teams.
I don't know about the 2nd paragraph. Looks like Sims is still in danger of hitting the motion man with the snap. That might be the worst way to turn over the ball over. Definition of unforced.
I expect just thr opposite. D coordinators know how to defense him and our O that is very limited. His production.has fallen in the running game and the ints are starting to add up. A lot of his rushing yards are coming on.broken play scrambles and not designed running plays. I don't care if we have NFL caliber WRs it won't matter.

I agree that DCs have it figured out but I think Heinrich IF he plays beyond this season will get better with more experience. I just don’t think his ceiling is as high as our resident non-human primate.

No, they are always easy on paper. It's when you get an actual D in front of you that things change. If it is as easy as you say, then why doesn't everyone do it and why doesn't every play work?
