Was this season a loss? No, we won the games we should've won. Was this a good season? No, we were blown out by OhSU and Iowa while looking bad, and we ended up with a peliniesque 9-3 season.

iirc, we are around 0.700 all time. 9 wins ± bowl game keeps us in that vicinity. More or less a holding pattern.

Year 2 is in the books.

I can live with this assessment...I expect to be better next year.....this will be the 3rd year for most of these players.....longer than they were ever with Pelini...........that excuse is out the door....Good coaches change culture immediately...seen it with my own eyes over and over again.

We have to work on running the ball and not being prolific passing, but effective....we play real defense in this conference.

Not for me. It did leave a sour taste though, I'm more interested in bowl game prep to see how the youngsters do with a lot more reps. Extremely important time for Foster, Raridon, Wilson, Farniok and pending Conrad's injury.

This is basically another fall camp, minus the install. There's also zero pressure from a depth chart standpoint. Development time, first one in 14 weeks.

Can obrien play in the bowl game without losing his redshirt ?

We had no alternative to TA yesterday. Fife couldn't even hold the ball with his broken wrist. Darlington hasn't been hit since high school. POB saving the shirt. We simply had no backup

I sure wish we could replace some fans while keeping the AD and HC. SMH. Am I happy with the record? No after starting 7-0. Am I happy with the 2 blowouts? Absolutely not! But to suggest there is no hope is just ludicrous. Do people not realize with a bowl game win this would be the first season since 2003 where we have fewer than 4 losses? How about we slow the big picture doom and gloom until this staff has a full cycle of their recruits who didn't live through the battered spouse syndrome inflicted by the previous staff? Good God folks some of you have no perspective what so ever!!!
