Watching the sideline video and the celebration one can't help but hope that this was a turning point to unify this team and move forward with positivity.

Coach Riley praising the players for their perserverance and practice ethic, players hugging and embracing the fans, seem like huge steps forward for the pysche of this team! If players weren't "bought in" are they now?

I don't see how you could be a part of something special like this and not feel good about it.

I don't think it is solely an issue of players buying in or not. People were pumping up the Minnesota win as a turning point. Last night was a great win, but as we know, there is still a lot to work on. Rutgers game isn't a gimme. All we can hope is that this helps galvanize the team to work even harder and stay focused.

There will still be a lot of hard work to be done. But Saturday night was huge for the players and staff. I say YES!

Agree, but beating MSU is a better achievment than beating an unranked Minnesota team. Believe this win does more to instill confidence and belief.

I certainly hope so, I want this staff to succeed in the worst way. It certainly injected energy into the team, coaches and fans. Now they have a feeling they want to have again. Knocking off two unbeaten teams in the final three games of a terrible season is a great goal and has to give them momentum for next year if they can do it. I've never got excited to play Iowa before this year, I think the team may feel the same way and play a great game.
