View from 600 section

Hey guys, I am thinking of taking my son to the game this weekend for his first trip.

For those of you who have sat up in the 600s, is this a good spot to watch the game with a young one? Too far away? My friend has tickets in the 1st row up there, wasn't sure if they had the wire barriers like they do at PBA that get in the way of watching.

Mine are in 606 row 1. LOVE them. View is great, bathrooms and concessions easy access PLUS getting in and out is a breeze and you get shade and a nice breeze in the wide concourse.

I've never sat up there but I'm told that any higher than about row 5 and you best wear a hat and keep your drink covered because of the dead bugs that rain down on you after they fly into the lights. There was an article in the paper last year about a woman who worn a beekeeper's netted hat to keep the bugs out of her face.

True...but not all sections have the lights above them up there. The lights are really close to the last few rows but not sure they could really put them up any higher. After this week, I don't foresee many night games (southern Miss is an 11 AM kick...wiscy likely an 11 or 230 kick).

Sat up there once front row and loved it. It was like sitting in a different stadium with the elevators space and ease of movement. Day game plan on the sun blasting you in the face
