Just read a report that upwards of FOUR THOUSAND Western Nebraskans were in attendance in Lincoln last weekend to watch future Olympians wrassle for the USA Freestyle belt.
Tens of thousands typically pack Nebraska venues for Olympic Trials/Championship Events, so despite the embarrassing lack of community support and national pride, I'd like to send a shoutout to our Star City Scrollers who spurned such popular events as the Modest Mice concert, the Saltdogs vs Lemurs game, and the Women's Roller Derby match to attend.
