It never ceases to amaze me how a small minority of negative fans can hijack the conversations on boards like this one. I have been a Nebraska fan for longer than most of you have been alive. The herd mentality that swirls around the basketball program has a major part in why players think of leaving. Why would they want to hear all that negativity.
Another factor is that we play freshman, leaving Horne, Jacobsen and Morrow a redshirt year available to not lose any years of playing time if they transfer. If anyone thinks we will attract a coach that won't see the history of what has happened here is delusional. We have no natural recruiting hotbed to provide a source of top players and we have never recruited more high profile players than Miles has brought in. The Big Ten is much tougher in basketball than the old Big 12 top to bottom.
Most of the unbiased experts have seen progress beyond the record, but not all the experts who have attacked our coaches with bulldog mentality that surfaces in not only sports but our politics too!!
