Man, that UNO vs SDSU basketball game last night was a BLAST. Too bad UNO didn't win, but congrats to them on getting the program to the point where they may be in the tourney soon!
Second, what with the Spring Red/White game coming up, who wants to speculate on how many, and whom, we get to commit between now and then? Right now, it's looking like 247 Sports is saying we have a great shot at picking up Manuel Allen, 6'2" receiver from CA, high 4*, which is GREAT news. Any other players stand out right now as being Nebraska leans/kids we should be focusing on?
Reading about how the staff is getting along has been really fun. I can't emphasize enough what an improvement Diaco is over Mark F-ing Banker; no offense, I'm sure Banker is a good guy and a decent coach, but holy crap, Diaco has these kids fired up and ready to whip ass and it's only March. Bob Elliott was saying that he thinks this staff (Diaco, Parella, Bray, Williams) is likely one of the best defensive coaching staffs in the country, and the best he's ever worked with. These are exciting times to watch player development.
