Underated??

we saw the mighty b10's michigan last year get beat by the b12's second place team in the cfp. try harder.
then we saw the 2nd place B1G team be the only team to give Georgia a run for their money, and witnessed the Big 12's 1st place team get prison-raped by the Alabama Bryce Young's. Harbaugh is a loser in the playoff and exists only to beat Ohio State.

still irrelevant, join us in the present where you just lost to the worst Mike Gundy team of all time and the Big 12 is so weak that a backup QB Kansas team is near the top of the pile.
texas would kill everyone in the B1G
would have to see that to believe it. in typical Texas fashion, I'm guessing they quit on the season and rack up a few more losses.

Texas and A&M are the wealthiest two schools in the country. They’re only gonna keep getting better. The rift between good and bad is widening, and we’re on the wrong side of it.

Who was it that called me out for saying OU was underated team that nobody was talking about?? What say you now?
venables just beat what many thought was the second best team in the country on a neutral field. he's done a great job this year. interestingly, his wife has cancer, so he's carrying that load as well.
they wouldn't even be the 2nd best team in the B1G/Pac
I'd like to revisit this, lads

Times have changed. This is no longer the SEC of the last 20 years. The elite teams in the SEC right now are Georgia and Alabama. There are a few other very good teams, and from the middle down they're not very good. Is it really more intimidating playing Arkansas, South Carolina and Florida right now (don't even mention Vanderbilt) than it is playing TCU, Kansas State, Texas Tech?

Texas and OU will do just fine in the SEC. They'll lose a few more games than they do in the Big 12, and will have a much more difficult path getting to the conference championship game, but they're going to consistently be in the upper echelon of that conference.
Alabama has fallen from elite to just really good.

The list of teams with more talent is maybe 1 school long

Maybe
I would say maybe 2 schools. Texas and Georgia are most likely those 2 schools, although Georgia doesn't look like the juggernaut they were last season. We will see when Georgia faces Alabama.

early in the season, I would've agreed. i've been burned by my early season gut instinct on Alabama before, though. i took a look at how many undefeated seasons Nick Saban has had at Alabama and it was pretty surprising that he's only had 2.

He's made it to the National Championship 7 times with a 1 loss team, and won it 4 times. it won't shock me if they beat Georgia in the SEC Championship. I suppose it also wouldn't shock me if they lose to Auburn, either.

Saban is like Tom Brady. I won't count him out until he's out.

also, hindsight is 100% accurate
not for me, i've stayed consistent in my position that Oklahoma is a paper tiger, and after losing to Kansas and OkSt, it's clear to everyone that Oregon, Washington, Ohio State, and Michigan would beat the breaks off of them.
lets drag up preseason discussions about N's record this first year under MR. those would be entertaining.

sure, here you go.

*broken quote
Best case is 10-2. Losses to Michigan and one other team like Wisconsin, Maryland or Illinois. I think that is within reach if we stay healthy.

Worst case is 3-8 with the two patsies up front and then Northwestern. This is also possible if Sims goes down and/or we get a rash of injuries to both lines. Starting 0-2 is a real possibility too since we have so many unknown factors.

it would've been harder to notice your deceptive quote editing if you didn't completely fumble it

love that you had to scroll thru the 6-7 and 7-6 type predictions to find that, though. you're severely underestimating how pessimistic most Husker fans are.

Now that the $EC has the complete The University of Texas system in its conference it’s going to be interesting to see how the big money effects the poorer and less talented (education wise excluding Vandy) $EC schools. Money usually has its way of winning out.

aTm is going to be in deep doodoo as if they aren't already. texas will be their overlords as has been the case throughout history: 76–37–5. the sec will keep vandy. every conference needs their stepchild.

Comparing predictions before you see the team play to totally overreacting after a few weeks of the season are not remotely close.

Saban knows more than anyone that his teams aren't quite what they were and he's absolutely determined to fix that and bring them back to the top. Anyone who thinks he's going to get burned out and ride off into the sunset has no idea how this guy is wired.

I didn't plus that's irrelevant. You had a bad take I called out at the time, and time showed I was right.
