Tyson - Paul ...who's in?

Really hope Tyson wins. Very curious how the heavier gloves and shorter rounds will play out. Personally I hope this goes a few rounds and then Tyson wins with a knockout. I just hope it doesn't end up being a young cocky dude beating up on an old legend.

That’s not entirely true because he won both the WBC and WBA titles after he got out of prison.
They were only married a year and for several years that Heavyweight Division was filled with nothing but tomato cans.

Once Douglas knocked him out in Japan and he started to fight guys like Holyfield and Lewis who weren't afraid of him, he was the one who was being intimidated. He lost his personna to Douglas.

I agree he was never the same after all that, but he still won championships and knocked out a lot of solid fighters in the mid 90’s.

Hahaha....I see what you did there. Very clever!!

...why do people act like late 50's means you have one foot in the grave? Good gawd, Tyson looks fit as a fiddle. He gonna whoop Paul like a rented mule.

Please God, let it be true
It's true that 50 is in no way "one foot in the grave." It's also true that does not equal standing toe-to-toe with a very in-shape 27 year old. That's fantasy.

I'll give you that. I used to be a HUGE boxing fan from the mid 60's through the Lennox Lewis years but not much since. Watched a lot of Mayweather because of his defensive genius, but Don King and Arum had screwed the sport up so much, I had lost interest.

Funny story. My son was friends with Bernard Hopkins in LA. Dude was world champion and made probably 40-50 Million. My son said Hopkins would clip coupons, go to 3-4 different grocery stores to buy the cheapest item, bag his own groceries and then stop at the gas station and put in like $ 3.00 worth of gas. My son said he never seen anybody so tight in his life.

Bernard Hopkins is easily in my Top 5 of favorite fighters of all-time. Dude did it the hard way, and just picked people apart. Wasn't afraid to fight anybody, and took the will of a lot of really really damn good fighters.

The You Tuber is a Fraud. Tyson is a 58 year old man. With that being said, Tyson quits or is TKO'd within 3 rounds. Age is the difference here. The "fight" is a joke, but I don't see Tyson winning this fight in any shape or form. I do want to see him at least drill the POS "boxer" Paul at least a few times, though. And I don't want to see Tyson getting hurt, which is my fear here.

The Roy Jones - Tyson fight was more of a patty cake affair.

But, like Tyson says, if Paul steps on Mike's toes, all bets are off.

Go to Youtube and watch Holyfield fight Belfort at 58. It was an embarrassment and he also looked like he was in really good shape. I will be delighted if Tyson looks good; I hope he does! Anyway, I still think this is a fake fight and they'll go the distance and it'll probably be a draw.

This is what Vitor Belfort looked like at 18 years old:

There is no comparison between Belfort and Jake Paul. But you are right that this is a fake fight.

Ha, the first two dudes seemed like when you have one of those “grudge” fights where two random dudes from the office fight each other because one of them ate the other guys lunch
