Coaches want a 14-week regular season vs. a 13-week, so that means everybody would get two bye weeks. With 9-game conference schedules this only makes sense now. That is being proposed for 2020.
Also, there will not be a June signing day. Sounds like December and February will be what's proposed.
What's interesting is with a December signing day, would Nebraska then lose out on guys like Chris Walker because they'd be pressured to sign in December? That's the big negative I see for Nebraska, but the positive is they can lock guys up and not have to play baby sitter all January if it goes through.
