Wisconsin got two massive plays on the exact same play call. Not necessarily huge gains, but 10+ yards but a huge impact.
1) with about 3 mins left in 1H, we had them pinned back on the 3 yard line, and UW hands off to Ogenbuwale for an left-side perimeter run. Kieron Williams sees the run and over-pursues the play and gets blocked a OL at the perimeter of the play. Ogen, cuts up and gets a first down and Wisky out of trouble. We eventually hold them, and get the ball back and but with poorer field position and not enough time to even get into FG position.
2) OT run for a TD WU runs exact same play. Kieron over-pursues again, and 6 points go on the board.
Not sure if that is Kieron's responsibility to contain, or if he is supposed to contain the outside and someone else is supposed to fill the gap. Regardless it was the exact same play that had a impact on the outcome of the game.
Not complaining at all, I'm proud of our play. Just an observation that one play that UW ran we struggled against and appeared to have a pretty big impact on the outcome.
