First on third down in regulation when a simple pass across the middle to get us in field goal range. Than on 4th in OT We lob it up on forth down when we only needed 9 yards.

Yep, not always necessary to go to the end zone on 4th down unless it's 4th and goal. Receivers were able to some space in the 4th quarter. Then again, if Morgan comes up with a huge catch..

A pass across the middle is no guarantee, it wasn't there all game long. The last regulation play was a (1) complete to win it or (2) incomplete for OT. Agree on the 4th down in OT, but Stanley was a man in the 2nd half, the call makes sense.

Really thought Morgan was going to come down with that at the onset. Maybe if it was a bit more to the outside he might have caught it like the announcers were saying. Damn good effort by those players tonight. Hope no one hangs their head after this one. I think they can play tOSU straight up next week just like Wisconsin tonight.

And let's call a truce, GBR Huskers, no reason to be battling each other when we pull for the same team! Sorry about the earlier stuff.

The last play of the game felt eerily like Armstrong's shot to the end zone on 4th and 2 to all but end the Iowa game last year.

Bad TA raised his hand a couple of times late. Dang it. Still love the kid but man he threw deep a couple of times when he shouldn't have. He did have defenders in his face all night long and really didn't have time to look elsewhere.

I absolutely hated the Hail Mary at the end of regulation. But as others pointed out, that might have just been Armstrong going for all the marbles in one shot. You have to run someone deep down the sideline to open up the middle - doesn't mean you have to throw it there. Too bad, though. With Brown's leg I wanted to see him get a shot to end it in regulation, even if it was from 50+.
