Well the turnover improvement didn’t show itself as much as it should have in our record. Mostly because the games where it should have made a difference we had a negative turnover comparison (-2 UCLA and -2 Iowa, -1 OState).

With that said he went from -17 turnover ratio to -2.

We committed 13 less turnovers in 2024 (31 vs 18) and forced two more in 2024 (14 vs 16).

Hopefully we see us take another big step next year. Considering Dylan was a true freshman I see upside next year.

A majority of turnovers came on Nebraska's final offensive drive to win or extend the game.

Illinois - Turnover on Downs in OT

Ohio State - Raiola INT to end game

UCLA - Haraberg INT to end game.

USC - Raiola INT to end game

Iowa - Raiola Fumble to end game.

I think these turnovers show the fragile psyche of our team more than anything.

Dylan does a fairly good job of not forcing throws. I'll give him that and has played a role in reducing turnovers. He looks off his progressions and checks it down too quickly is the counterpoint to that though.

At least we don't turn it over when the pressure's on.....
