Off the subject a bit but I am looking to get tickets for either Saturday or Sunday this weekend. It would be nice to have the Saturday night game in Omaha at TD Ameritrade. With Nebraska doing well right now and Iowa fans being Iowa fans and knowing nothing about baseball but show up just to see a yellow and black uniform play, they could come near to selling 20k tickets.

Nice, fairly easy win. So far we haven't slipped up in any of these midweek games. Needs to stay that way.
In a way it's time we do. We should beat KState, Omaha, and Creighton this year but the difference is we are actually doing it. What sits in the back of my head is the fear of that end of the year slump that tarnishes our season. Hoping this pitching staff is what gets us over the hump though.
Either way I'm loving the winning because it's been way too long.
In fairness, we closed pretty strong last year earning 2nd place in the B1G. That postseason, tho.... oof. Maybe this year we fix that. [praying]
We step closer every year but still the lull. Hopefully this is the year we avoid the lull all together. This year does have a different feel though because of our pitching staff, so far anyways.
