Its odd because he looks like he is always doing everything for the first time but somehow it always works out for him hahaMiller just had an ugly but effective slide to score tagging up to tie the game. Credit on the effort, but man, not pretty.
Online video broadcast is difficult to track doing other stuff, they're usually behind a batter or two, but I'm glad to get to watch them play!
Edit: "Ben Miller tagging to score" and "Ben Miller sliding" are right up there with "Billy Butler triple."
Waldron has not been sharp this year.......Top 5th
Leadoff HBP for Altavilla. Meyers with a single up the middle puts runners on 1st and 2nd. Schreiber pops up to SS for out #1. Miller lines out to SS. Alvarado grounds out to 2nd to end the threat.
Sophmore slump most likely, seems that when the scouting report finally catches up to these guys they then have to adjust to get to that next level. I think he will get better towards the end of the year but still a little shaky. Some bad luck tonight hasn't helped either.Waldron has not been sharp this year.......
They did the same thing with Howell last year. Sometimes they tend to overthink a situation instead of just doing what makes sense.Yeah, that screwing with Chad Luensmann has just worked wonders hasn't it? I mean the role he had worked so well last year, so let's change it up. I mean, makes perfect sense, doesn't it? Find something that works and mess with it.
Agreed, it happens far more than it should honestly. This one really stings. Had it in hand, and then it all comes apart with one pitcher whom we keep in there despite him clearly struggling. This one is on the coaches.
Eight two out runs. Ouch. Will say, tho, Bakersfield had more high choppers over stretched out gloves than I've ever seen in one game. Damn!Went to bed when we were up 3-2, thanks for posting the PxP. Looks like all of Bakersfield's runs were scored with 2 outs. That really stings.
Not only that, CSUB's decisive four-run 8th inning came after the first two batters were retired. A true two-out rally. Ugh.Eight two out runs. Ouch. Will say, tho, Bakersfield had more high choppers over stretched out gloves than I've ever seen in one game. Damn!
