I am not going to sugar coat or try and spin things in any way in this week's Tuesday LIVE Pre-Chat. These are dark times in Huskerdom. The worst of times. I was scrolling during the end of the Callahan Era and it wasn't this dark. HCBC's debacles in 2007 at home versus Okie Lite and aTm had a similar feel of hopelessness to this weekend's tOSU game, but this one was worse.
Typically at this point in the Pre-Chat I include an inspirational Bible verse to inspire some hope. In lieu of that, I give you Revelation chapter six, verse eight: "I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth." If you looked closely on Saturday night, I swear you could see the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse looking down on the Old Grey Lady.

- Why me, God? Why now?
- I expected there to be growing pains with DCBD's (you handsome SOB) 3-4D including the Nose Guard position, but I thought those were worked out in the first 4 games. What gives? Is it lack of teaching fundamentals? Not enough speed? Players not fitting the system? Talent?
- Even after not playing or practicing much the last two weeks, they march RBMW out there over RBDO. Why do they hate that poor boy?
- When will the pain and suffering end?
- Is QBTL improving? I like to think so, but it is hard to tell with the crapfest going on around him.
