Noblest of Scrollers -
The hour is neigh. It's time once again to partake in the age old tradition of Tuesday LIVE Pre-Chat presented by your friends, and mine, at HyVee; HyVee - we may have cut our hours and employee benefits, but we haven't cut our quality.
So what's new, you ask? Well, our boys on the hardwood have dropped their 12th in a row. That, coupled with three bowless seasons from our boys of the gridiron, plus our boys on the diamond losing all weekend again, has lead many a Scroller to believe that DONU possesses the worst men's athletic department in all of the nation. Numbers like that will drive ADBM to drinking... more.
But, again, hope Springs eternal . HCSF & Co look to reignite the coal fires of the Husker Hype Train and gas up the Energy Bus. Spring bawl starts on March 6th or 9th, no one is quite sure, and Zach Duvall has gotten our young men YOLKED this off season. I've been watching ALLOT of periscope and snap chat on these training workouts, so take it from me - this is our year to shine and put legit stompings on the likes of South Dakota State, Central Michigan, Northwestern, Illinois, Rutgers and maybe even Purdue! Now that sounds nice!
But lets not count our chickies before they hatch for the umpteenth year in a row. Let us instead put our faith in HCSF's process of marrying old school, hard nosed, western Nebraska traditions to new school, spread em out, FL speed - thanks Coach Fisher!
I hold steadfast in my belief that this is our year. The year the sleeping giant awakes, the Phoenix rises from the ashes, the DONU Huskers win 6+ games!
